About
Fields From Orbit prints real places, seen from orbit, on a real day. We work from the European Space Agency's Sentinel-2 satellite archive — the same imagery climate scientists and cartographers use — looking for the moments a landscape reads as art rather than data: a lake mid-bloom, a desert catching the light, farmland in geometric bloom.
Nothing here is generated or imagined. Every piece carries its own coordinates and capture date, because the specificity is the point — not a stylized idea of a place, but one particular morning, somewhere real.
New pieces roughly every two weeks. Based in Toronto.
