Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026.
Who we are
Fields From Orbit is operated by Print For Good Films Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect through fieldsfromorbit.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. This is a plain-language summary of our practices, not a substitute for legal advice specific to your situation.
What we collect
If you join our email list, we collect your email address and, if applicable, which page or piece you were viewing when you signed up (this helps us see which images resonate, not to track you individually). If you like a piece on the site, that preference is stored only in your own browser (see Cookies below) — we don't tie it to your identity.
We do not collect payment information directly. All purchases (digital downloads and prints) are processed through Etsy's checkout, governed by Etsy's own privacy policy, and physical prints are fulfilled by our print partner (currently Prodigi) using the shipping details you provide to Etsy at checkout. We never see or store your card details.
Cookies & local storage
We use a small number of cookies and browser local-storage entries, none of which are used for cross-site tracking or ad targeting:
- One to remember that you've liked a piece, so you can't like it twice from the same browser
- One to remember that you've dismissed the cookie banner
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic (page views, referrers) across the site. It's cookieless and doesn't collect any personal data or set any tracking identifier — it can't be used to identify you individually.
Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and email list, each of whom only sees what they need to do their job:
- Mailchimp — stores email addresses for anyone who joins our list, and sends the newsletter. See Mailchimp's privacy policy.
- Vercel — hosts the website; sees standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) as part of normal hosting operation.
- Etsy & Prodigi — process orders, payment, and shipping for anything you purchase.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we don't share your email list data with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep information
Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Order information is retained by Etsy/Prodigi per their own retention policies, not by us directly.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — email paul@pfgailabs.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. Some specifics by region:
- Canada (PIPEDA): we collect only what's needed for the purposes described above, with your consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time (e.g. by unsubscribing).
- EU/UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. The legal basis for our email marketing is your consent, given when you sign up. We don't have a formal EU representative, given our size, but we'll respond directly to any request.
- California (CCPA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information, as defined under the CCPA.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Unsubscribing
Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also contact us directly at paul@pfgailabs.com to be removed from our list or to ask any question about this policy.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
